What it is

Manganese works closely with iron and balances calcium, and is a very important trace mineral also involved in vital functions such as digestion, bone development and nutried absorption.

Daily intake

Children aged 1 – 3: 2 mg/day
Children aged 4 – 8: 2.5 mg/day

Boys aged 9 – 13: 3 mg/day
Boys aged 14-18: 3.5 mg/day

Girls aged 9 – 13: 2.5 mg/day
Girls aged 14 – 18: 3.0 mg/day
