Maca Guaca

Plain ol’ guacamole is already pretty healthy for you – tomatoes, onions and avocados all offer unique health benefits. This take on an old  favourite – “Guaca-Maca” – throws in superfoods Maca and Spirulina ingredients to supercharge the nutritional value of your next Mexican meal.

Serves 4-6.

Maca Guacamole Recipe


  • 3 avocados, mashed
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tsp Super Maca
  • ½ tsp Super Spirulina
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tbs grounded black pepper


Mash the avocado into a paste, mix in the other ingredients gently until well combined, and serve in a bowl. Can be served with organic corn chips, in burritos and enchiladas, or just as a side for your favourite Mexican themed dish.
